Indiana state swim photos

OK, I'm a few weeks late, but here are a few photos from the Indiana Boys state swimming championship meet on February 27-28. The meet featured six-time state champion and national high school record setter in the 200 individual medley, Kyle Whitaker. Carroll swimmer and Prep Sports Swimmer of the Year Sam Trahin finished second to Whitaker in a personal best time of 1:49.83 to Whitaker's record-setting time of 1:45.25.

The lights are on, but nobody's home ... yet

With 36 days left until opening day of the Fort Wayne TinCaps' inaugural season at Parkview Field in downtown Fort Wayne, Ind., manufacturer reps and contractors installed the final light pole in left-center field on Wednesday, March 11, then adjusted the light heads to attain the correct amount of lumens on the playing surface.
